The team was recommended to us last year after the opening of a restaurant they designed downtown Chicago. My partners and I were not sure we need an interior designer, specifically because we had to invest a lot of money in architectural services. But I’m happy we did. We had no idea how much this means. The team took the lead and not only they had exceptional communication and direction with the architect but also it’s the first time when I hear a contractor being happy. I literally had no idea! Are all hospitality interior designers like this? Overall, it completely changed the game for us. The way they imagined things, the way they completely transformed the space, it looks outstanding. Completely out of this world! My partners and I have been in the hospitality industry for many years and had no idea that an interior designer can do this type of magic. Deși mâncasem înainte tort de aici, eu se pare ca am avut ghinion probabil. Am comandat astăzi un tort cu blat de vanilie, crema de mascarpone și FRUCTE. A fost gata ce-i drept in 2 ore, dar când l-am tăiat in seara asta, inafara de faptul ca era lăsat și crăpat, nu avea nicidecum fructe, ci dulceața de fructe. Blatul tăiat inegal, astfel ca foaia din mijloc nici nu se vedea. Frisca cu care era imbracat nicidecum nu era frisca din smântâna, ci ceva gen Hulala, la fel și crema de mascarpone care avea gust și era grasa de zici ca era margarina cu zahar. I hired Cristiana Crin and Perpetuum Designs for a project that involved designing and building out a retail space on Oak Street in mid 2019, we assigned a budget, timeframe and Cristiana took on the project assuring us that she would be able to deliver the completed project within the budget and timeframe specified. What ended up happening is that they were unable to complete the project within the timeline, and that they abandoned the project after expending the entire budget, 8 weeks after the intended project completion deadline. It was highly concerning that they were difficult to contact and didn't respond to outreach during the project timeline and the additional 8 weeks delay. Moreover, the fact that they informed me that they had run out of money and couldn't complete my project was even more alarming. When looking for ways to resolve this, she didn't provide any avenue to make things right. It was highly unprofessional of them to leave us high and dry without any alternative options or recompense. Their lack of accountability and disregard for their clients' investment was unacceptable. We had to find another design and build firm to complete our project with additional expenses starting from scratch to remedy this debacle. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Cristiana Crin and Perpetuum Designs for any interior design project based on my experience with them. It is essential for any design firm to deliver on their promises, be transparent with their clients, and take full responsibility for their actions; all things they failed to do in this case. Another office down, two more to go. We hired them for some interior design work in our first office beginning of the year and it turned out beautiful, so we just hired them again for our second location. I have to say that we just got back the drawings and specks and it looks even better than our first location. I didn’t think that was possible! We were recommended by our real estate agent and had no idea that working with a commercial interior design firm would make such a difference. I’m happy we took the advice!
