After months of leg pain, primarily in my calf and ankle, I found Active Health online and thought I'd give it a go as it was local. BEST THING I DID ! Sian was welcoming, knowledgeable, and very professional. Her examination and questioning to determine precisely what the issue was and what had caused it was thorough, her explanation about potential treatment and recovery was informative and, as was borne out, spot on. I have been to a number of physios and chiropractors over the years for various (usually sport-related) issues, and they have generally been similar - hard-ish and "aggressive" massage treatment, and "make another appointment in a couple of weeks if it still hurts" approach. Sian was the opposite, recognising that the one size fits all approach does not work. Her treatment was personalised to me, and various complimentary techniques were used, including massage, acupuncture, manipulation, and exercises. Highly recommended I went in due to back pain and Sian found that I also had a lot of tension through my neck and shoulders, I've suffered with headaches for as long as I can remember and since seeing Sian over 2 months I have yet to have a headache amazing thank you so much Sian xxx

Following weeks of debilitating headaches and light headedness I decided to seek out a good chiropractor and after reading Active Healths very good website and reviews I made an appointment with Sian who is a very friendly and professional chiropractor. She has helped me with my posture and relieved the tension in my neck which has in turn cured my rotten head problems. Sian has been amazing, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her. Not only are her rates reasonable, but her treatment works! I initially injured my back and just one session with her made such a difference, so much so I came back for more.Then, I injured my leg days and hip days before I was due to take part in a half marathon. I met Sian for the first time today.Have to say I was feeling quite nervous given I’d never ever visited a chiropractor before but heard they crack the bones a bit . The idea of that frightened me a bit and to be fair, it put me off going.Well what can I say! Sian was a very warm and inviting person who soon made me feel very comfortable. I have visited the practice about 4 times in June/July 2018. The appointments have been very flexible. Sometimes I was able to book within 24 hours and also choose regular times which suited me best. The approach taken by Sian is based on a thorough assessment and what works best for the individual. In each session I benefited from traditional chiropractice adjustments, massage and more focused treatment such as acupuncture. The treatment was clearly based on what would work best for me. I was also given great advice on exercises which would benefit my particular condition. I have had immediate and long lasting benefits from the treatment. I could hardly bend my knees or walk without discomfort before I started treatment and now I am fully active and no longer waking up with back pains. After trying, what feels like, every chiropractor on the earth, I started going to see Sian at Active Health a few months ago. I have suffered with recurring back and shoulder pain for years and have had many episodes where it has seized up completely leaving me unable to move. Sian has been amazing - she explained exactly what causes the pain and showed me several stretches to do at home to keep everything moving as it should. Been visiting Sian at Active Health on and off for over a year regarding intermittent back/hip issues caused by running. I attended an initial consultation after experiencing painful back and neck pain. Everything was explained to me clearly and the cause of my problem was discussed as well as what treatment would be effective. After the consultation Tamson manipulated my neck and back and through a series of non-painful adjustments my back and neck pain was instantly relieved. I visited Tamson Barber's clinic as a last resort, having suffered with a very sore neck for months.
