Our whole newborn photoshoot experience with Nevina has been absolutely first class. Before the shoot, she communicated very clearly with us around what to expect on the day which was very reassuring. On the day itself, Nevina directed us professionally and she handled our baby with experience and expertise. She also made sure the day was fun and stress free, which is difficult when there is a 9 day old baby to keep happy! Nevina has produced some wonderfully creative shots that we will cherish forever. I found Peekaboo through numerous recommendations and chose the company for my maternity shoot. It was fantastic and Nevina prepared for the shoot with me over the phone and emails and made sure we incorporated all the ideas I had. The results were incredible so when my daughter arrived, I chose Peekaboo for the newborn shoot. Again, Nevina prepared well for the shoot making sure she knew what vision I had and guiding us through the shoot. As a professional photographer and a mother, she handled the sets and the 7 days old baby incredibly well and taught us lots of baby tricks too. Navina held a photo shoot with my two children and their two cousins so that I could give a photograph to my Mum as a special birthday present. I was a little nervous as normally all the cousins together usually means chaos! But Navina's experience shone through, as she knew what would work and how best to position each child. I would highly recommend for a newborn shoot. Our photos have come out more beautiful that I could have imagined. Nevina made me feel so at ease and her home was very warm and welcoming. She handled my baby so well and had amazing patience, being able to get him in positions to get perfect shots. I was worried that I wouldn’t like the photos with me and my baby, as he was only 5 days old and I hadn’t lost any baby weight! I entered the peekaboo studio 9 years ago when I assisted the family I was nannying for during their newborn shoot. 7 years later I had my own first child and at only a few days old we did his newborn shoot. Nevina was in contact with me prior to the shoot to make sure we were super prepared for the day. She asked if I had any requests and shared her thoughts and suggested styles. Aswel as her studio being full of props for us to use she also allowed us to bring our own props. On the day - nevina takes full control over keeping the baby asleep and handling baby to position them for the shots. There are a few 'behind the seen' parents having to help out with holding etc but this actually adds a few laughs during the shoot. I discovered nevina offers a maternity shoot whilst pregnant with my second child. I felt unsure on this one as like many others during third trimester I didn't feel I looked my best. It was a breeze. She has beautiful gowns to use. She directed me on how to pose and the feedback from all my friends and family was just amazing. July 2019 My newborn shoot for my second son. Again the experience was the same re preparing before the day. Her prop collection has grown massively over the years! On the day - not that there was anything wrong with the previous ones but I personally felt during this shoot she handled my baby even better and more confidently. We managed to get lots of different styles all in one shoot. I love all of our images from all of the shoots but it's clear nevinas creativity, knowledge and styles have changed/improved in only a couple of years. I now plan to mix and match my three shoots and display in our first home together. More...
