I contacted PCM 247 Maintenance Ltd to do an electric boiler service & repair an electric shower at my elderly mother's park home. I went with this company after looking at previous good reviews & wasn't disappointed. If you are looking for professional, polite courteous plumbers who have the utmost respect for their customers then look no further than PCM 247. Just before Christmas our old boiler failed. Paul, the business owner, responded quickly and he and his team were able to fit a brand new boiler within a couple of days and well in time before Christmas and with a 10 year guarantee. As a business owner myself I value good service and we all know there is nothing worse than a tradesman that comes in your house and tries to blind you with science. With PCM there was none of that. They explained everything they were doing as they went along, completed the job within a day and left our house neat and tidy exactly how they found it. I can't speak highly enough of them and in a day and age when we have to be mindful of who we are letting in our house I would strongly urge to use this company as they will give you the peace of mind we all deserve. I called Paul a few months ago as we had an issue with our radiator he was so professional and friendly and went above and beyond to fix the issue . Our boiler broke on a Friday morning I called him and he was over within 2 hours. Monday morning he was at our house fitting a new boiler. We took quotes from several people, and our choice came down to the reassuring and professional manner of Paul Mc Carthy (The owner of PCM 247). Paul replaced my 25 year ancient boiler with a new efficient valiant with a new hive connection. He came round and quoted and within 2 weeks the job was done. We were very hesitant to have someone come and install a new boiler after having so many different quotes and advice. I found Paul on Facebook and saw he had a lot of knowledge with old boilers like ours so decided to give him a shot! We had a heating system original to the house (from the 1970s!) that needed gutting and a new boiler fitted; they made sure to thoroughly explain the work that needed doing, and came up with the best quote. Outstanding from the first contact through to completion. Our ancient gravity system died and I sought a replacement. Paul McCarthy clearly explained the advantages of a Combi system and relocation of the boiler. Works started and finished on time. Great care was taken to protect the property. The installation was handled superbly with virtually no disruption. He and his team were unswervingly friendly, courteous, professional, efficient and thorough. The price was competitive, the product is excellent. Care was taken to explain how to use/ programme the system. I also had two lingering, unrelated, minor jobs which were dealt with very well. The new system is brilliant and we're delighted with it. Everything was left clean and tidy. PCM247 is a gem of a company and Paul richly deserves his excellent reputation. Outstanding, professional, expert, friendly service from the first visit until the end of the job. Our old gravity system died and we sought a replacement. Paul recommended a combi instead, sited in a more user friendly location. The end result is amazing and way beyond expectation. We have gained space with the removal of tanks and an immersion heater and the water pressure is such that it's like having a power shower in our shower room.
