LIQUID DAMAGE - TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTIONSpilled an entire flask of coffee over my MacBook Air 2015, it was literally flooded, pouring out the USB port. It is important at this stage to never EVER attempt to turn the laptop back on. This can short out components and create avoidable damage.I rang peter at PC Home Rescue, he instructed me to bring it to him immediately as if left, the coffee (sugary liquids in particular) can corrode the internal components. I took it to him in mackworth within half an hour, he then told me I may not have hope but he’ll try. He immediately took the laptop apart and cleaned all the coffee out with 99.9% cleaning alcohol. After all of the coffee was flushed out he examined the internals and found no green corrosion or shorting damage. He left the parts to dry and re-assembled the MacBook and Miraculously it survived, no damage whatsoever, no data loss, every single key on the keyboard even still works. Put it down to apples anti-shortage safety features or this mans genius, all I know is this mans quick instruction and action saved my MacBook, my 2 years of engineering diploma work and all my personal data/music projects. I have left it two whole weeks now and the MacBook is running exactly how it was before, even got AVG installed for free! :)£25 for investigation, £20 for the action.£45 to save a £1000 laptop with polite, informative and immediate service. Hi. My daughters iPhone 6s screen was shattered so searched locally for repairer. Peter from PC Home Rescue appeared with many likes on FB so contacted for quote. Quote was good, quick and screen was in stock so repair could be carried out as soon as. Dropped phone off around 10am and received a call when fixed around 12. Picked it up shortly after and Peter talked me through exactly what he had done during repair and went through the tests he had carried out too. Very professional and will use again. More...

Took my Laptop in that had issues turning on and struggled even more to stay on. Turned out it was a corrupted hard drive. It was wiped and reinstalled whilst retaining all my previous data I required and he gave it a good clean. I took the laptop to Peter on the Saturday and had it back in great working condition by the Tuesday evening. All for a very good price. Would strongly recommend. More...
