Had Robert put together my custom gaming pc. Great service all round, quick to respond, very reliable, friendly, has knowledge in all areas regarding computing so was very helpful when I would ask questions about my future upgrades to the pc. Was nice to find out he would be building my pc at my house right infront of me so I could see what happening & learn a few things. He went out of his way at times in order to make sure my build was 100% ready. I will be using him for future services wether that is upgrading, troubleshooting, fixing he does it all. I can rest easy knowing my build is in good hands with one person, as it took me some searching to find an independant buisness in the area. So would I recommend.. absolutely, very happy with my pc. September 2015 I had my gaming pc upgraded with a new graphics card and while it was in the shop I also had it thoroughly cleaned of all the dust that builds up inside. Ran perfectly fine over the Winter but coming into Spring/Summer I started getting the 'Blue Screen of Death' and random complete shut downs. Tried taking it back to the shop but that was all abandoned and shut. My son asked his computer maintenance colleagues who suggested the power supply needed replacing so £50 later new power box fitted but still the same issue of random shut downs. Gave Robert at PC Help and Care a call who collected machine on a Friday evening and by Monday had identified & fixed the issue and delivered it back to me. The issue was there no thermal grease between CPU & the copper pad on the heatsink - it had all been removed during the last service !!!! My PC now runs perfectly and the cost of Roberts excellent prompt at home service was just over half what a large computer shop charges for taking the computer in to them! Would highly recommend - Robert attended to look at a Powerline issue I was having and managed to pinpoint the problem after some testing, however whilst he was here he noticed that the fan on my PC was spinning very fast so looked at and fixed that at the same time for no extra cost. The service I received from Robert (PC Help & Care) was nothing short of outstanding.Having the need for a new top-notch PC designed for high-performance gaming & video editing, I contacted Robert due to being perhaps the most highly regarded provider for such services in Swindon based on my research. As I've found out over the last month, he's certainly capable to living up to such praise.Having not a significant idea of what to do myself, Robert provided much advice & remained very patient as I tried to identify the ideal build for the new PC that would suit my needs & budget over the course of 2-3 weeks. During the time when the build was finalised and the deliveries of parts & the following assembly took place, Robert kept me frequently updated on it's progress & remained flexible when changes had to be made.Upon the evening when he delivered the completed PC, he very kindly stayed an additional 60-90mins late into the night to reinstall the operating system & essential software due to an error that had occurred without charge. I perhaps may not have yet expressed how grateful I am that he did this for me.Now I write this review from the new PC, which although I've still have much to reinstall and get back to normal, is performing beautifully, being much more comfortable with what my old PC at times struggled with. The cost was very high, but the service provided, even as outstanding as I consider it, was not.It was a pleasure doing business, and I will do so again should I need any further assistance in the future.
