I highly recommend Paws Platoon at the Army Reserve Centre on Walllisdown Road, Denise has been an absolute blessing and Harvey (my cockapoo) loves her. She is very friendly, reliable, trustworthy and updates me on how each walk went, which is always comforting. Denise always gives Harvey lots of attention and leaves him lovely and clean in his bed after his walks and even pops his jumper in the washing machine if needed! I never worry about Harvey as I know everything is always under control and he is well looked after. Definitely a 5 star service, Paws Platoon and the team are based on the Army Reserve Centre on Walllisdown Road, which is really easy to get to, and central for Bournemouth and Poole, give her a call today, you won't be disappointed.

Q&As

What I love most about my business is that I can help people, it is a worthwhile job, something that provides a service to help others in need. I believe the greatest thing we can offer dogs is our love unconditionally because that's what they offer us. Dogs are always there for us, they provide a lick or snuggle and a waggy tail every time you walk through that door after a day at work. They miss you when you're not there, and even though you've left them to go to work and been away for a couple of hours they never sulk when you come home, they are immensely happy to see you at the end of the day and will cuddle up to you on the sofa for some quality time.
They are sentient beings and have an immense capacity for love. My job is to ensure that their love and kindness is reciprocated. They deserve to be looked after and cared for, walked and loved. Played with talked to, and I love that I get to provide this service for all my clients when they must work and can't be at home.
I love that I can give back your love and affection through walks and fun games, which is what your family dog so dearly deserves.

Our dog inspired me, Blue our Weimaraner came to us when we needed a dog back in our lives after losing our beloved family Labrador a year and half previously. It’s not until you've loved and lost a dog, that you realise how important they are in your life, the massive hole they leave behind when they have passed on. Dogs are sentient beings and their understanding of humans and the way they fit into our lives is remarkable. I worked in the corporate sector for many years, but due to family commitments, I had to review my future. There are so many dog walkers out there who don't provide the service both you and your furry friend deserves. It’s a vastly growing business, and I wanted to make a change.
Dog ownership has changed over the decades as our lives get busier. Research by RSPCA has shown that 22% of dogs spend four or more hours alone during the average weekday. Employing a dog walker helps ensure your dog is not left alone for too long. The survey also found that one fifth of dogs were reported to, or had in the past, shown separation related behaviour when alone. But a simple solution to further reduce this number is the employment of a dog walker. I like that I have a degree of control and freedom within my job to be able to look after my elderly mother whilst providing a service to my clients and of course I get to share my time with lots of different dogs, which makes me happy and keeps my customers happy too.
