Would highly recommend pawfection. Took my cockapoo in yesterday afternoon and she was well looked after. She went in looking like a wooly sheep but came out looking fab. She suffers with anxiety problems and has been to a few groomers and not got on there but the girls in pawfection were not bothered about her anxiety and were kind to her. Meg has been grooming my dog called Ben for the last 4 years , Ben is now 15 years old and I have used a few dog groomers over the years but Meg has been excellent , a very pleasant, kind person ,Ben loves her , he was always happy to get in her van , have his grooming done and always looked lovely when Meg returned him back to me. Today was Ben's first visit to Meg's new premises in Abergavenny I travelled from Brecon dropped Ben off , the premises was a pleasure to go in , her reception area for the owners was a pleasant surprise and her grooming parlour for the dogs was a lovely dog friendly and a safe secure area for the dogs to stay while being groomed. It's was a pleasure as usual to leave Ben in the professional hands of Meg and her staff , I returned to collect Ben to find him happy per usual after his grooming session looking like a new dog. I can highly recommend Meg , she is a lovely , kind person always smiling and a true professional at her job. More...

Merlin my Border Collie wasn't at all happy about being washed the first time and I had to get in the bath so he would follow me in but Meg is so wonderful and calm that Merlin is getting better every time. Thank you Meg

Spud is currently in the van and about to have a bath. Meg has been great with him and he is really at ease. Spud is my brother's 13 year old Parsons Terrier - he spends a lot of time with me. My mother wanted to take him to a groomer, but I had seen Meg's van around town in Abergavenny and suggested that this would be a better solution. So far - so very good.
