At PawActive we offer a personal and friendly service. All breeds of dogs are welcome. Providing a variety of services inculding solo or group dog walking, pet sitting and comfort stops to suit all your pets needs.
Having dogs of my own and fully understanding the level of care which I provide for them I offer this to any pet in my care.

One year ago today my human mummy contacted Georgina at @PawActive in need of some serious help and thank goodness she did! ! I used to go to a big doggy daycare centre every morning and my mummy thought that was a good idea for socialising and having fun but then my good behaviour gradually deteriorated and walkies was no longer fun for her or I. I became nervous around other dogs, hated loud noises and I’d regularly bark to my hearts content. I had no idea what to do anymore. Little did mummy know I was surrounded by hyperactive, big dogs with nowhere to chill, being muzzled and I’d get put in the time out create on occasions. But they didn’t tell her. Now she understood why I didn’t like having my harness put over my head ready for walkies. Fortunately Georgina came to the rescue and took me under her wing. The initial hello was super crazy and I got really excited. Over time I learnt that sitting nicely and not barking or climbing all over her as she walked through the door would mean I could have a treat, and I like treats. Being with George meant I could go to the park, and I like that too. I stopped worrying so much and stopped barking at other dogs. I also discovered that if I kept my attention on her and walked nicely then I’d get lots of praise. My mummy has also been working really hard. I now enjoy a daily routine and always look to her for a treat when I know I’ve been good. I can now walk past most dogs and bikes without making a noise, I’m still a bit scared of loud noises but try to stay focused. The bin men are now my friends too. In the summer I was introduced to Cara @PawActive and we had lots of fun together. Cara now takes me to the park, but tummy tickles first are compulsory. Cara has yummy treats and a squeaky ball in her pocket which I like to play with. I’m always a good boy for Cara and she texts my mummy to let her know. My mummy and I want to say a big THANK YOU to George and Cara for all of their help over the last year, they are truly great and we would 100% recommend @PawActive. Thank you Georgina! Just what Chico needed and he and Bailey love walkies with you. It's fun as well as instructive and just right for my rescue doggies! ! Chico's recall is coming along well and he can now cope with large dogs which previously frightened him and caused him to bark "aggressively". Well where do I start, I have 3 Staffordshire bull terriers 4 1/2,4 and 10 months, I contacted Georgina for help with my youngest! He is very lively and didn't get on with any other dogs in the park it seemed so I muzzled him for his safety and that of the other dogs but Georgina came round and met Charlie (my 10 month old) and spent some time with him, she then suggested we go out trying a new lead and get him walking along with one of her own dogs instead of my older two, must admit never thought it was possible!! He cannot focus on anything else when he sees another dog!! Well....we went for a beautiful walk at 7am this morning and even got him walking along beautifully with one of her huskys OMG he was a different dog no pulling, relaxed and he looked so happy! I cannot recommend PawActive enough, this is only the beginning for me and Charlie we both still need a lot of training and practice but with what I learnt today I am so hopeful to have a more relaxed household and a happier pup! PawActive is amazing. I'm struggling to find the words. They're just so flexible and so responsible. Georgina has walked my own dogs, spent time in the home with my foster dogs, fed and cared for my cats and fed an unreasonable amount of pet rats for me when I went away �
The flexibility is just the most helpful thing ever, but more than that is the care and responsibility. My foster dogs are all ex puppy farm and often very wary of people and Georgina helps by giving them another human friend to trust.
The communication is fantastic too. The texts to say all is well set my mind at ease and the photos always make me smile.

I am so pleased we chose Paw Active to help us with our puppy! Starting with puppy visits, we felt Debbie went over and above giving us advice and help on toilet training. I can’t tell you how invaluable Georgina has been to us. When we met fifteen months ago my rescue dog from Bulgaria had become scared of everything, not wanting to walk literally, no confidence - and here we are now with multiple photos showing how far she’s come with Georgina’s patience and knowledge - off lead occasionally, walking confidently with tail wagging with different dogs in different environments and loving it. Georgina is without doubt the best thing to happen to us and would highly recommend her (which I have) to anyone needing a reliable, caring, experienced, insightful dog walker - because she’s more than that - she will become part of your unit and work with you to ensure them your dog becomes the best they can be. What do you love most about your job?
Spending enjoying the time with the dogs on their walks whilst they have fun. Loving sneding and posting on the facebook page to the dogs owners so they can follow their adventures. Its very rewarding to help some of the dogs over come some of the problems they have had as well.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having my own dogs some of which are rescue's and being huskies they have had very difficult starts to life. I have spent alot of time with them to over come problems. Re-trainng them now to the awsome animals they are today I am so proud of them. I wanted to help others in the same way with walking and training others.
