Welcome to Parkes Practice where I have the pleasure of being able to offer you a warm, comforting, confidential and non-judgemental service. I am a registered member of the BACP and this means I meet the BACP's standards for safe and ethical practice. I hold a clean up to date enhanced DBS and professional indemnity and liablity insurance which enables me to work anywhere.
I have over several years of experience counselling in a leading charity. I work with individuals and couples to work on ways of improving how you feel about the situation that you currently find yourself in. Counselling can be a scary undertaking. I hope to able to make the transition into counselling as smooth as possible for you. I believe that in each persons capacity to change, grow and influence their lives if they are given the opportunity to work on themselves. I have particular experience in working in the following areas - depression, anxiety, affairs and betrayals, domestic violence, bereavement and loss, emotional abuse, loneliness, low self- confidence and low self-esteem, miscarriage, physical abuse, redundancy, stress and trauma.
Finding the right therapist is important, before we engage in any therapeutic work I offer an initial meeting there is a fee of £25, here we will discuss counselling contract that lays out the boundaries of counselling. Email P•••••@••••.com mobile 078•• ••••••
