My length of experience in home tuition over 32 years has allowed me to develop a highly effective tutoring style in each of the maths and science subjects that I tutor.
This includes many techniques unique to me and designed to allow the student to more easily learn and achieve in all subjects.

I provide highly effective zoom lessons and which preserves the privacy of each student in a simple but effective way. Thus after introductions the cameras are switched off and the student focusses on the teaching image on an A-3 sheet of paper using a range of coloured pens and other resources. Full supportive relaxed and empathic tuition can be readily provided through the empathic sound of the tutors voice.

My service focusses on each student’s unique and individual needs, through a process of motivating, and improving self confidence by rapid achievement. This is done in an enjoyable, friendly and empathic way, and includes a range of services such as careers counselling and teaching the best ways to revise using the best available resources. I also teach and encourage the student to communicate with confidence. Where difficulty is experienced we revise the material repeatedly together in each lesson.
