This is such an awesome guitar school!! The G4 method is brilliant and all the teachers are incredible! Zayne has learnt so many new techniques in such a short space of time. Including music reading, notes, ear, scales, pentatonix and arpeggios. Zayne joined in November 2020 and hasn't put his guitar down since. What do you love most about your job?
The best thing about our job is the community we have created and seeing the positive impact that playing music can have on our students. We have many students who started with us as young children and we really get a kick out of seeing them grow and develop, not just as musicians but into confident young adults. Many now play in bands or are regularly performing at our events.
In addition, we've connected many of our adult students with other like-minded musicians and have seen some great friendships develop. Some of our students have gone onto music college or are training with us to become guitar teachers. Playing guitar is not easy and we know that those who stick with it develop perseverance and confidence, which is bigger than just being able to proficiently play guitar.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We wanted to share our own love of music with others through teaching guitar and playing music.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our programme contains so much more than just guitar lessons! With 16+ years' experience teaching students of all ages, we've identified the key ingredients why some students stick with guitar for many years, while others quit. Our new programme is built around those ingredients & includes a mixture of group lessons, personal support & cool community events. It is the only programme which brings all of these elements together & has been game-changing for the engagement & development of our current students,

Yes, our programme includes online lessons in addition to in-person jam sessions & performance events.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We pivoted our entire programme two years ago from standard in-person lessons to online. We were pleasantly surprised at how well our students adapted to them and, in many cases, actually made MORE progress than they had previously. The majority said they would prefer to stay online (for convenience) with regular opportunities to meet up and play together. This is what we've created in our new "hybrid" model, so it's really the best of both worlds.
While we prefer to run our jam sessions and performance events in-person, we have run online versions of these events and could do so again if we ever need to.
Beginner To Band Guitar Programme
We use and endorse The G4 Guitar Method, a structured, fun and easy-to-follow syllabus which focusses on teaching the 7 Essential Skills of Guitar. We believe it's the best way for serious beginners to start playing the music they love as soon as possible.
Our programme includes:
Weekly online group lessons (max. 5 per group)
Monthly online private lesson
Revision/make-up lessons
Monthly jam session/in-person meet ups
Quarterly performance events
Trained, friendly teachers who are professional musicians
