What’s your interior design process?
Following an initial enquiry to establish that I can assist you, Outshine Interiors process is very simple:
STAGE 1 - CONSULTATION.
We arrange a convenient time where we can meet each other and I view the spaces(s) that require my expertise (this can be done remotely) We discuss in detail your design project and what you hope to achieve. I ask a lot of questions!!! - to enable me to start working on ideas for your Design. This first meeting also gives you the opportunity to clarify any elements of the process and ask questions.
STAGE 2 - MOOD BOARDS - Following our Consultation I produce Mood boards (a minimum of two per room). These concept boards will enable you to visualise the design direction you want to go and help you to make the final decisions about how you want your space to look and feel.
Some clients feel they have enough inspiration from the Mood boards to continue working on their design themselves.
If however you require Outshine Interiors to continue developing and finalising every detail of your design we agree your requirements for STAGE 3.
STAGE 3 - DEVELOPING & COMPLETING your design.
We agree a personalised service that can involve any or all of the following services, dependant on your requirements and the scope of the work:
Developing and finalising the design
2 & 3 Dimensional design boards.
Floor & lighting plans.
Procurement.
Liaising with other trades as required.
Styling.

What size furniture to buy?
How to plan the layout of your rooms?
Where to put all your “stuff”?
Well there’s no need to worry as that is my job - Outshine Interiors can resolve all of these problems so let’s put a smile on your home ?
N.B. If there are projects that I consider are too complex for Remote Design I will always be upfront about this.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
My job is to help you find your own individual style - you may be drawn to traditional interiors, you may love contemporary designs. I will consider every aspect of your home, the age of the property, the feel you wish to create, existing furniture you may have, your budget, to enable me to design an interior that is going to be unique just to you and your home.
I have undertaken studies in Colour Psychology to enhance my design service and the value I can give to my clients.
What do you love most about your job?
I have always LOVED colour and interior design from a young age. Our homes are the most precious places - a place of sanctuary and for me to be able to design your home in a way that you just couldn’t have achieved on your own and that makes you truly smile each time you walk into your home - that’s the best gift for me ?
What inspired you to start your own business?
A very sad event actually- the death of my father. My father was so creative, an amazing artist, he had quite unusual design ideas! and I realised I had been missing such creativity for too long. I felt that life was too short and so I followed my dream!!!
