Out There Trees Ltd. was started in 2003 by Peter Goddard and has since grown into a dedicated team of arborists (tree surgeons), groundsmen, mechanics and office staff.
Based in Chobham, Surrey, we cover a wide area of the home counties and South London and work with both domestic and corporate clients – no job is too big or too small for us to carry out, and each is treated with the same level of care and attention to detail.

16th Nov.
I phoned OTT at 8pm last night as a tree had fallen across an access road and was precariously balanced on a spindly Silver Birch.
12 hours later the team turned up and felled the tree, taking care not to damage the neighbours fencing, hedging and phone wires. Everything was left very tidy. Thank you for your quick and efficient service
3rd Oct.
From the initial tree survey, to the completion of the work, everything was extremely efficient. OTT managed all TPO permissions with the local council. An aerial survey was undertaken on a huge beautiful copper beech, and an action plan was put in place. Over 30 trees were included in this round of works, covering reducing, dead wooding and felling dead trees. The team were polite, knowledgeable and efficient, and even did a couple of little extra bits I cheekily asked for, at no extra cost. Everything was immaculate when they left. I would happily recommend Out There Trees.

Why should our clients choose you?
Based in Chobham, we cover a large area of the home counties and South London working with both corporate clients and individual home owners; no job is too small or too large for us to carry out and each is treated with the same attention to detail and level of care.
Our staff are trained and qualified in all aspects of arboricultural work and we carry Public Liability Insurance for up to £10million.
Tree Surgery
Crown reduction, crown lifting, crown thinning, removal of deadwood, felling, pollarding, and bracing
Hedges
Formative pruning, maintenance pruning, and hedge planting
Stump Grinding
Following removal of a tree or hedge you will be left with a stump close to ground level. If you are looking to replant in this area or just want a tidier finish you may want to grind the stump down to below ground level.
Reports + TPOs
Tree owners have a legal duty of care to ensure that the trees on their land are safe and are checked on a regular basis. As Arborists we can carry out a Tree Survey which outlines the features, defects and risks of every tree within a certain area. If any trees are flagged as potential risks then further investigation and inspection can be carried out on those trees individually. The survey generally lists all the features and defects of a tree in a spread-sheet style document and when repeated over time (normally every 2 years) records any patterns and changes in the trees’ health and behaviour.
We can also provide an Arborist’s Report which is a more in-depth report of a tree or group of trees with specific concerns relating to health and safety.
Planting
We can supply, deliver and plant various species and sizes of trees and hedging plants to your requirements, sourced from a range of wholesale suppliers whom we have dealt with for many years and built an excellent working relationship with.
Air Spading
The Air Spade is a machine that uses pressurised, compressed air to essentially ‘dig’ like a spade but without damaging anything in the process. It disperses the soil in a non-invasive manner which makes it very useful for an arborist.
