About

Hi. My name is Agnieszka (Aga) Mather, and I am a fully qualified, registered integrative counsellor and a member of BACP. (British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists)​

My main modality to work with clients is Person – centered approach in counseling therapy.   Person-centered approach believes that people have the ability to resolve their own problems and are capable of self-directed growth.

My role as a therapist is to provide a warm, non-judgemental and inclusive space open to individuals of all cultures, backgrounds, orientations, and abilities. Whether you are dealing with long-standing difficulties that you feel limit your ability to live a fulfilling life or you are going through a difficult patch due to a specific experience or issue, I can help you by providing a safe space where you can voice what is going on for you.

My aim is to facilitate a process where you can identify your needs and live a fuller and more authentic life. Ultimately, I would like to support you in finding and putting into practice the changes that best work for you.

This is an amazing opportunity to talk through a range of issues - big and/or small in size. Talk aloud about options and solutions, which were only piling up in your head, without using them to actually improve your life and not being afraid to take a risk to make some changes.

Currently running a small private practice in Paisley and working for an Ayrshire Cancer Support Charity supporting cancer patients and their relatives.
