How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
You literally are what you eat. Naturopathic nutritional therapy helps people to understand that the correct nutrition (what you do and don't eat) has a huge impact on your health and well-being. That does not mean that you have to live on kale salads and green smoothies. I am a very keen cook and have adjusted many classic recipes into healthy versions loved by the whole family.
I also believe in the healing power of optimum nutrition and therefore nutritional supplements are a big part of my healing protocols. Every person is a unique individual and is treated as such. What may work for one person, may not for another. Therefore, I take time to understand my clients in order to help them overcome their health issues.
What do you love most about your job?
I am a people's person. I love one-on-one sessions with people, trying to understand not just their health issues, but their whole person. I have a degree in Psychology so also feel that I intuitively understand people.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a mum of a young boy, it is important for me to fit my business in around my family.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am passionate about helping people. So many chronic health issues could be dealt with without the need for drugs, which often simply mask the symptoms. I spend time with you to find out why you are experiencing your health issues/tiredness/stress/inability to loose weight and through an easily manageable nutrition, lifestyle advice and supplementation programme, I will help you regain your health and well-being.
