I enlisted the services of Oligra Events after struggling to organise a 30th Birthday Party in the UK from Australia and I'm so glad I did! I've previously been lucky enough to attend a wedding they organised as well as a hen weekend, both of which were absolutely stunning, flawless and perfectly reflected the couple so I knew I was in good hands. What do you love most about your job?
Enjoying special occasions with family, friends and colleagues is what life is all about, but we are all so busy these days we don’t do enough of it. We love helping people enjoy more of these special moments by giving them the support needed to make it happen. Working with clients to make their dream event a reality and helping to create an unforgettable experience gives us a great sense of satisfaction.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We've been friends for over 10 years and we've always talked about starting an event planning business. Both of our professional lives entailed event planning and management and we have always jumped at the chance to plan events for our friends and family. Becoming mums gave us the final push we needed. Once Olive and Grace came along we decided it was time to stop talking and start doing - hence we launched Oligra. Planning an event or party can be a daunting task and it’s easy to underestimate the time it will take. There are so many wonderful venues to choose from, endless styling options and entertainment genres. Sometimes you can feel put off before you even begin. At Oligra, we are here to take the pressure off. After all, events aren’t meant to be stressful. We will cut through the noise to create a unique event to match your level of adventure and budget.

Dream: we will create and guide you through bespoke inspiration boards to set the vision for your event – from venue, themes, styling and entertainment.
Design: with an agreed vision and project plan in place, we will put the gears in motion – from obtaining quotes, making bookings, coordinating invites and arranging travel.
Deliver: once all the planning is done, we will ensure your event runs like clockwork – from set-up to guest arrival, coordination of activities and discreet handling of any unexpected eventualities.
Event planning
Perhaps your event is fast approaching and you want us to take care of the final details, or you’re at the start of the planning process with a vision but want us to take care of the rest – we will tailor our approach to suit.
