Internal Door Fitter
Oliver was between jobs, so I was very fortunate to catch him at the right moment in time. We needed a new door supplied and fitted to a cupboard in a bedroom. Oliver and Ben did an excellent job, arrived when they said they would and left everything clean and tidy. Highly recommended. More...

Oliver worked on my loft conversion and did an excellent job. Knew the job inside out, answered any questions we had and kept us up to date on deliveries or tradesmen coming round. Left the job very clean and tidy each day. Even when the job was complete and we had something to change, he still showed up and completed the change. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of having a loft conversion! More...

How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Having enough headroom in your loft plays a massive part on whether or not you can convert the space to a bedroom. A minimum of 2.1m is ideal, from the top of the ceiling joist to underside of ridge.
The space in your existing stairwell comes next. Being able to fit a regulation size staircase plays and important role in classing the space that you are converting to a bedroom and not just glorified storage.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Inserting steel beams the party walls with the use of a crane to support your new bedroom/bathroom walls and floor.
Breaking through to connect the 1st and 2nd floor with regulation staircase.
Running cables and pipes to provide heating and power to your new floor.
Windows / veluxes can be fitted and roofers can start making the external watertight.
Insulation can then be fitted to all external walls and plasterboard in preperation for plaster.
2nd fixing from all trades to then leave client with conplete loft conversion ready for painting and tiles.
What do you love most about your job?
My favourite part of converting lofts is leaving customers satisfied and happy with their new bedroom/bathroom. Offering a bespoke service from the start with no small detail overlooked.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having the right suport from family friends and sub contractors to know that im capable to make a success of a loft conversion conpany.
Why should our clients choose you?
Having been in the loft conversion business for some time, ive got to a stage where i want to start running my own company and doing things my way. Ive seen faults in conpanies that id like to put right, but under my own company name. Ive also had the pleasure of working with many great builders and company directors which has given me insight into the best way to build and a superior finish that can be achieved.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Initially I can provide a quote based on drawings and structural calcs sent in PDF form.
I can also estimate costs based on photos or videos of your home and measurements of your house.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We aim to be as least disruptive as possible to you and your family. Breaking through with the staircase is done when maybe 2 thirds of the job is conplete just before plastering stage.
Only when absolutely necessary do we come inside. To set up power at the beginning of the job. Or to first aid.
A portaloo is nornally located at the front of your property or wherever suitable underneath the scaffold.
