As explained we wanted to collect the logs but you stated you was away abroad and after calling you several times and leaving messages we have had no response! this review is completely unjustified and unfair we worked very hard in the rain to complete your job and everyone was very happy with our services and paid us in full. Now iv been left a bad review over a small pile of logs that originally you wanted to keep!

Reliable & did a really good Job! Would recommend.

Sadly one of the worst experiences I have had with a tradesman. On the day they arrived to pollard our willow I was told it was rotted in places & was a hazard. I went with their expertise and reluctantly agreed to pay extra for removal of the tree. Over the next 2 & a half weeks, I was constantly promised they would turn up on a certain day at a certain time only for them to never appear. I was rarely warned and had to keep phoning Nathan to find out what was happening, he rarely apologised even though we were going out of our way to make sure someone was in. He then tried to charge me extra because the chipper was not available the day he wanted to come and finish the job, I said i was not responsible for the costs as he had not come the day he said he would. When he finally arrived, it was late in the afternoon and he tried to charge me extra once more as, essentially, he underestimated how difficult the wood was to cut. He couldnt finish it, left a mess which I got complaints from neighbours over, & then repeated the same pattern of moving his day to finish the job, constantly telling me he had the hump because the job was costing him more than he thought it would. The day he finally finished it, he left the logs in a mess at the end of the garden, said they were too heavy to move as he had originally promised & reneged on our deal to remove the stump as well, saying he had put herbicide on it. By that point i had lost the will to even argue it. We will now have to get the stump removed. I did my best to try and be understanding but I was pretty upset & irked by it all really.

UPDATE: After posting this review two weeks ago I was called by Nathan around 20 mintues later, who said he would like to resolve this issue & offered to come and clean up the mess, & cut the trunk lower if I agreed to let Bark delete the review. I agreed. He said he'd definitely come on Monday. Of course, he didn't show up on the Monday, then said he'd come that Friday, I messaged him politely asking him to not repeat the same cycle & please get it done by the Friday. I got no response whatsoever & here we are a week later.

after taking on your job we encounterd lots of problems within the trunk itself, various lumps of metal and foreign objects within the trunk making the job extremely difficult and ultimately costing me over £300 in chains. I explained this to you in detail and you was just rude and not bothered, after we managed to cut the tree up into logs it was agreed you wanted to keep the wood so we stacked everything neatly at the back of the property, the next day u rang and complained asking me to return to collect the wood , after going backwards and forwards i then agreed I would collect all the wood free of charge as a friend wanted firewood to then be told u wanted to keep the wood and u would be leaving me a bad review! on reflection your actually the worst customer iv ever had to deal with and after reporting this to bark they feel it’s justified! im just glad people can read all my other great reviews and make judgment from that

I think thy have done a decent job. But they could trim the side hedge as the neigbour is not at home. Apart from that, it was a good service.
