I have worked in a Primary school and assisted students of mild Autism and ADHD. I am very aware of students who have Dyslexia and a learning difficulty, students work at their own pace and the same topic is gone over a couple of times to ensure they are confident in their work. I have tutored nursery students and supported them with their school homework, worked on graphemes and grammar terms, as well as reading and spelling work. Aside from their school work, I communicate and ask questions regularly to ensure they have a wide vocabulary.

I have assisted students with SAT's preparation and booster English and Maths sessions. I have prepared SAT's resources such as comprehension questions, vocabulary and spelling as well as arithmetic and reasoning questions for Maths. I have worked in a Year 6 class as a TA and worked through exam style questions for the end of year exams.

I have taught 7+, 8+ and 11+ with success. I have been teaching Maths, Non-Verbal Reasoning, English and Verbal Reasoning for over 4 years. I make sure that students have a wide range of vocabulary, problem-solving skills, time management and study techniques (flashcards, revision notes, worksheets). I create my own worksheets and resources for each student as well as working through books to familiarise them with the wording of questions. Students taking the 11+ exam are also given SATs preparation to ensure they have a solid understanding of the basics as well as timed conditions to ensure they respond quickly to questions.
