I had some roofing work done by North Star roofing in the spring. It was important to me that I had a contractor who was reliable and that I could trust as there were time schedules to meet and inspections by building control.
North Star took care of everything, from liaising with the inspectors, to communicating with partner trades and myself, to ensure the job run smoothly.
The quality of workmanship and finishing was beyond reproach. I would have no hesitation in recommending North Star and will certainly use them again on future projects. More...

We called north star to give us a quote on a leak in the kitchen from our flat roof. North star came in and provided us with a reasonable quote and upon request agreed to do the job at short notice. (3 working days).The person who provided the quote was personable and knowledgeable. At any stage we did not feel we were being over charged. He advised us what the problem was and provided repair options.They where clean tidy polite and reliable. They even did some small extra jobs like make sure the chimney had a cover.
The only reason I have not given a 5 star review is that we have been provided with a year warranty should we have a problem. Should I need them to come in due to warranty I will update my interview with 5 stars once I have received the 'after service'.
I would recommend them to my friends and when I need a complete over haul of the roof I will be approaching him for the job. Good reliable Company. More...

Called quite a few roofers after storm damaged my roof. Received quotes ranging from hundreds to thousands. North Star was just one company - decided on them as they were local and kept to time & did things when he said he would. Sounded pretty knowledgeable and the quote was reasonable. As I needed it done urgently, I agreed the price and told them to commence the work. It started on time and I was sent photos of progress via email. Completed work and fixed additional minor problems as well. I was concerned after reading the "bad" reviews but am glad that I followed my instinct - they may not drive flashy van's but certainly not "cowboys" !!! i'm a bloke that does not praise many people but i've got to give credit where credits due!
We called north star to give us a quote on a flat roof and to be honest we'd had cheaper quotes but i got the sense that we'd be in safe hands, so we arranged to have it done.
North star came in and did a really good job, also since then ive recomended them to a friend of mine and she's more than happy with there services too!
