Tree felling
This should be a last resort but sometimes this cannot be avoided due to the health of a tree.
Tree felling is carried out by various directional cuts to control the speed and direction it will fall in.
Tree Pruning
Tree pruning is cutting away unwanted branches such as dead wood, damaged or defective branches from cross-overs rubbing and manipulating the size and shape of a tree.
Crown Reductions
This is pruning further down the branches to shrink the overall size of the crown.
Removal of any dead or defective branches will also be carried out.
Hedge Trimming
This is a tidy up of any hedge/shrub by trimming away any regrowth from a generally well maintained hedge.
Hedge Reduction
Unlike hedge trimming this can take some time to get to the desired height and straight line back into the hedge.
Stump Grinding
The remainder of the tree and its roots after felling can be Stump ground out below ground level to allow for a more level grassed area. Soil and seed can be used on request.
Tree Dismantling
This is a more specialised way of removing a tree if it cannot simply be felled.
This will carried out with the use of lowering equipment and rigging techniques to safety lower sections of the tree to the ground.
Emergency Callouts
Storms are not the only reason trees come down.
There could be many other reasons as to why they would fail and some of the examples could be fungal infections, decay , excavations of roots and some features of the tree could make it structurally weak.
