Are you looking to get started or improve your guitar skills and learn in a fun, engaging manner that actually feels more like "playing" the guitar, rather than "working" and getting nowhere?

I've been playing for over 13 years now, have played live for various audience sizes, taught and recorded, but no matter what the situation - I LOVE playing the guitar!

I owe this to the way that I was taught: Looking at combining practice and theory by learning riffs, solos and chords used in the songs that *I* liked, then understanding *why* they actually worked.
This definitely beats the stuffy old method of starting with very basic chords, learning songs that you could take or leave and then "grading" - Forget that! Challenge yourself!

In my opinion, the only grading system worth adhering to is the look on people's faces when you start playing!

The genres that I gravitate toward personally are blues (on an acoustic) and rock (on an electric), however in teaching students interested in other genres, I've enriched my own playing and musical taste too - Even pirate shanties!

I firmly believe that if you're taught in a manner that engages and inspires you, with a focus on improvisation & song construction, you'll become ADDICTED to playing the guitar and improve VERY quickly!

I'm not the cheapest by far, however I do get my students the results they need and I guarantee this 100%!
