Absolutely amazing service from Darren, Martin and the team. They really pulled through for us, not only were we a late booking having gone from 12 months to 12 weeks to plan the entire thing, they helped with some last minute decorations and finishing touches for our big day. The food was perfect, by far the best food we've had at any wedding never mind that it was ours. All of our guests made a point of saying how much they enjoyed the meal and how happy they were with the portion sizes. Even the veggies were happy as they are normally overlooked- their veg wellington was spectacular and made them feel fully a part of the day. I cannot thank Darren and the team enough. Darren helped us create the most amazing menu for our wedding, giving suggestions along the way whilst making it personal to us. From the moment we booked Darren he was great and answered any questions we had. We weren’t going easy on Darren in that we were asking him to cater for over 100 people, in a marquee, on top of a hill, with hired kitchen equipment… As a bride you always want everything to go to plan after the months of preparation but nothing prepared me for how outstanding the food was on our wedding day. All of our guests were amazed at how such a beautiful and delicious meal could be created in a marquee! The whole team were fantastic. The service went seamlessly and all of the staff were very attentive. Anyone thinking of booking NLB whether it be for a wedding or any other event… DO IT! Darren and his team catered our wedding of 50 guests. The food itself was incredible and of a very high standard with many guests saying how good it was afterwards. The detail that Darren went to was amazing, even using vegan cheese for a caprese salad for our vegan guests. His staff on the day were also friendly. When you get told there’s a food truck coming to a hen weekend, I was expecting dodgy hotdogs and chips!! Wow, how wrong was I! ! The food was amazing!! Dear Darren and Karina We just wanted to thank you so much for the absolutely delicious food you prepared for our family gathering at Innes House last week. The street food on our first night was perfect for the occasion and you were so relaxed it really helped everyone to settle in well and enjoy our first hours together. The sit down Scottish themed meal was absolutely delicious; the room looked beautiful and the staff were amazing. It was the very best start to our evening.
