I met Nik in December 2014 with one wish to compete in WBFF London show 31 May 2015.I was already training since June 2014 but only by myself and I knew I have to find a PT to help me to reach my goal. He is very professional and I build a lot of muscles through 6 months of training with him.Nik is also very flexible and knowledgeable and I enjoyed every single day training with him.I just competed two days ago and placed top 10.I am very happy that I placed and I wouldnt be able to do that without Nik.He always pushed me over my limits that I never thought I would be able to do.Thanks to him I reached my goal and would recommend anyone who is looking for a PT,for any reason to keep fit or compete like myself, please contact Nik he is the best. Nik is an awesome trainer: knowledgeable, committed, and genuinely passionate about getting the best results out of his clients. He focuses on your needs, and knows what to do because he has done it himself - plus he is constantly learning and updating himself, and is very generous in sharing his knowledge. What he offers goes beyond the lifting sessions at the gym: specific nutrition/supplementation advice, advice on resting, stretching, good form, and motivation and accountability for when the going gets though. The results show month after month and I feel incredibly energized. Plus he is a champion of strength training for women, and of strong women - not your average trainer. Trust him when he asks you to lift - you won't get bulky. If you commit to it, you will see nothing less than progress towards the body that you want. More...

Nik is an extremely knowledgable, dedicated and talented personal trainer. I have been training with Nik for almost a year now and doing things in the gym I never thought were possible. Each week my strength goes up and up and as a result I am continuously, due to Nik's motivation, beating personal bests! Nik tailors training to suit my specific needs and is always adapting it to get the best possible outcomes. The training is much more than the hour in the gym - Nik is constantly reviewing my nutrition, fitness and well being and keeping my updated with the latest studies. Nik is extremely passionate about what he does and always developing his existing expertise. I started training with Nik because I wanted to get stronger and create a healthier lifestyle, both in training and nutrition. This is the first time ever that I feel I did create these healthy habits and no longer have to drag myself to the gym or to suffer to prepare my balanced meals! Nik was essential in this process because whilst working out the Psychology of keeping me going in these initial months, he held me accountable and kept pushing me to train harder. I was/am a challenging client, not your typical enthusiastic one. For me, training and nutrition were heavy duties and looking good in a bikini isn't a sufficient motivator for me. I started training only 1x/week and very slowly moved towards 4x/week. Nik changed my views and feelings towards strength training and I totally champion it now! I'm eating well (very balanced, no carb depletion) and getting stronger in a very sustainable way, all I wanted. He is very knowledgeable and will push you to achieve results as opposed to just keep you happy at the gym (although he is great fun!), but trust him and you will achieve your goals. I travel a long distance and make a lot of arrangements to keep training with him because I wouldn't want another trainer (and I tried a few before)! Nik is literally saving my life. I have always been fit and active and I am a fighter but a few months ago I was beginning to resign myself to a life of back-pain, with a progressive condition that can lead to complete fusion of the spine and wheelchair confinement.
Now, of course I still have the condition but I am pain-free, full of energy, empowered by growing stronger, on my way to being in the best shape of my life and feeling confident and hugely positive about my future and halting the progress of the disease. I'm fighting it every step of the way...and it's working. I am loving training and powering my increasingly healthy body with nutritious food.
I first chose Nik as a trainer because he suffers from Ankylosing Spondylitis too and I was interested to hear his thoughts about nutrition and supplementation. We have worked to improve my gut health and remove inflammatory foods. He is so knowledgeable and is constantly updating that knowledge by critically reviewing new literature and massively investing in his professional development to further help his clients.
He is genuinely totally dedicated to and passionate about what he does. I trust him to keep me safe while I am training and I'm getting better results than ever before. I have always been quite fit and active but I'm now making real progress. Nik has equipped me with everything I need to meet my goals; top class individualised training programmes and nutrition and supplementation advice which I have found easy to stick to. He is motivating and never makes me feel inadequate but knows what to say and do to ensure I give my best every session. I cannot thank-him or rate him highly enough and I'm excited to train with Paula from NKF Training in the future too for her first-hand competition experience and amazing form. I am so glad I found you guys.

Hi Nic. Long time no chat. Hope you are doing well. Just wanted to share with you..... since I started training 2 and a bit years back, using your program as my base, I am currently on the best shape I have been in my entire life. My weight is at an all time low since the army days and my body fat has reduced by about 13% since I started this transformation. Although I still train with weights in the gym 4 times a week using your program as a benchmark, i have diverted more into the world of road running which you may have seen on FB. Now..... when you first mailed me telling me I had to run 5km on a Sunday morning I thought you were mad. I had never run further than 3kms before that!! I have to date completed 3 x standard Marathons and 2 x Ultras. And next Sunday I will be lining up at the start of the Comrades Marathon (remember this from your SA days? ) 89km from Pietermaritzburg to Durban.

I have said this before..... but I really have you to thank for getting me going 2 years ago and giving me sound advice that I still use today. You have been a HUGE influence on my transformation (and its been more than just a physical transformation too)

Please keep at this.... you are great at what you do and probably have a bigger impact on many peoples lives than you realise.
