Nick responded to my initial enquiry very promptly. He was the more expensive of the quotes I had but he was the only one who filled me with any confidence with how he was going to carry out the repair as most wanted to do a quick patch job whereas I wanted a full strip of the roof and replacement. We had a few delays getting the work booked in due to the weather but Nick kept me updated and stayed in contact.The repair work was completed while I was at work and you wouldn’t have known we’d had contractors working as the area was left in perfect condition. I Received a quotation two days after contacting Njf. We were having gutters replaced, the chimney sealed and roof slates replaced. They arrived on time and completed the job with no delays. Called after my roof was damaged in the storms on 23rd and had already had two emergency repairs done by another company that failed, water coming through my bedroom ceiling and down into hallway, here at 8. 00am the next day, replaced the roof and even cleaned UPVC, facias and windows afterwards. Nick and his team did a great job replacing the gutters and re-bedding the ridge tiles on my house. I'm really pleased with the results including the freshly painted soffits. The team worked quickly and delivered the project on time and in budget, they accommodated a few last minute requests and sorted out the missing gutter parts swiftly so it did not impact on the completion of the project. Nick gave us a quote to replace the flat roof over our kitchen, and promised to fit us in within two weeks. When exact date was known, he gave us notice, then turned up on the day, on time, with his 'crew' and materials - so that the job was completed within the day as promised. I cant rate Nick and his lads highly enough as they corrected all the work another roofing firm got completely wrong.The work involved replacing a roof that that had a long list of faults, gutting, and other general roof maintenance. The work was was done quickly & efficiently, without the "no show days" you get with so many roofers and they were very fair with the pricing. After being let down in a big way by The Brandreth Group from Wilmslow who was supposed to be one of the good guys, I contacted Nick for a quote to make good the work done on my roof and to finish off work needed. Basically take off tiles put on and start again and of 3 companies contacted the only one to give me a quote within 24hrs and the offer of an almost immediate start due to really bad weather conditions and the mess we were in. From the first day when they turned up early to the last day when they cleared up their mess I was amazed. Absolutely FANTASTIC guys. Tidy, polite and did an amazing job.
