We didn't start our journey looking for a celebrant, but due to our circumstances the need arose and let me say we stumbled upon a diamond! ! Nigel was amazing from start to finish. He met with us and instantly we were put at ease, the ideas he had for our ceremony were amazing and added something you could never get from just having a registrar. He took all our information away from the meetings and came up with our own fully customised ceremony. When he took the time to build our own story to present to our guests he had many of them in tears and the extra dimensions he provides in customising the ceremony to your individual needs and desires goes beyond the extra mile. Guests at the ceremony were quick to say it was one of the best weddings they had attended and the venue even took his details for future bookings. If you've taken the time to read this review your search for your celebrant has ended as I can confirm you won't get any better than Nigel, he comes highly recommended!! He's worth more than the 5 stars and beyond!! More...

You know when you're planning a big event and you want it all to go smoothly, and you have so much to think about and you want a couple of people to shoulder some of that responsibility? Well that's what working with Nigel is like. Ours wasn't a traditional wedding - it was a commitment ceremony, so we wanted to avoid some of the standard words, phrases and specifics associated with a Wedding, whilst still embodying the sentiments and love we shared. Start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. He made us both calm and relaxed, took some of the pressure off us, had some great ideas, was really swift with clear communication, made us giggle and helped us enjoy a fabulous day. Honestly finding the words to describe how special Nige made our day has been harder than writing my vows. From the second we meet him, he made us feel at ease. When ever I’ve been to a wedding the things I remember the most is the dress and entertainment. Everyone one of our guests have said it was the best ceremony they’d ever seen. He asked us questions about how we meet and what’s it like being in a relationship, then created a ceremony we didn’t even know we wanted. Nige you are one in a million and you made our day perfect. Nigel couldn’t do any more for us! We met Nigel at short notice due to being let down a couple of weeks before our ceremony. However, it couldn’t have worked out any better as Nigel was such a warm and calming presence and dedicated lots of his time to get to know us a couple in a short period. Nigel is a lovely man and made us both feel extremely comfortable at the aisle. Our guests were so complimentary of our ceremony and how personal Nigel made it. Nigel conducted my farther in laws funeral. He is a very kind and caring person, and is very easy to talk to. Nigel has been amazing through the whole experience of losing my precious Dad..from the first point of contact I was made to feel like I'd known him for a much longer time, to the meeting to discuss arrangements Nigel took his time asked many questions really took an interest in my Dads life. . What do you love most about your job?
Creating the most personalized and heartfelt ceremonies, becoming great friends with all my couples, ensuring all their expectations are met in ,love, unity, and individuality, scripting their unique stories, and knowing that guests will go away saying " I haven't seen anything like that before,"
What inspired you to start your own business?
A friend of mine past away during covid and I was very fortunate to attend his funeral which at the time was delivered by a celebrant, I was at retiring age, I have always taught and trained others, I work on FM radio, it really appealed to me. So I booked on a Family and Wedding Celebrant course online with UKSOC, completed it. I will always remember my first wedding, and know I have 88 under my belt, and 18 booked for 2025, 7 for 2026. Who could really ask for a more fulfilling role, 2 people so much in love standing in front of you, I cry every time .
Why should our clients choose you?
Firstly, I didn't realise how much my personality attracts couples to book me, through the feedback/reviews I have received, totally humbled. I am very much a people person and communication with brides and Grooms is key to my business, giving them guidance and offering advice on many wedding subject, having also acquired a great many friends on this journey, I can offer other suppliers who I am confident in their work. There may also be a need to have a contingency plan if I'm not well or other circumstance occur, however I now have in place a Celebrant partner in another area meeting regularly and exchanging ideas. Becoming a preferred supplier in many venues has been an advantage, all advances in my 2nd year in business

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Continuous contact and communication is key during covid, this wasn't available, Brides and Grooms can now create their ceremony with my guidance and experience together face to face, empathy and building trust in me with them, and all my Wedding couples will say that we became good friends. Drafting their ceremony is a privilege, once drafted it is sent to them to be proof read and returned with any changes, if we get to draft 87, I don't mind, its their special day. I meet all my couples the week or days before the wedding day, its a nervous and exciting day for them, during the ceremony I whisper each and every section to them, they are then aware what is coming up next
I am a genuine, happy, caring guy, who has found his niche in life, my reviews from brides and grooms sum me up completely, I am very humbled. While I embarked on this journey as a Celebrant without seeking accolades, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for the recognition received, making this application a significant milestone in my journey.
My style and approach as a wedding celebrant are in qualities that define genuine, happy, kind, and hardworking characteristics. I believe that every love story is unique and deserves to be celebrated in a way that reflects the couple's personalities and values.
I approach every couple with sincerity. I take the time to truly listen and understand their journey, ensuring that their ceremony is a true reflection of their relationship.
My role as the Bride and Grooms celebrant is a joyous one, and I bring a sense of happiness and enthusiasm to every ceremony I create. I believe in celebrating love with genuine happiness. A joyful ceremony sets the tone for the couple's life together, and I truly am honoured to contribute to their special day.
