We have now had two photo shoots with Nicola. January 2018 when our daughter was 4weeks old. This was done in the comfort of our own home. Really relaxed. It was just us going about our routine but Nicola documenting it. You didn't even know she was there! it was nice to do this at home so when we look back at the photos in years to come we also remember what our home environment was like too. The photos are unique to us and not the staged studio look. We then met up with Nicola again in October 2018 for another family shoot at Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Again this was us enjoying a family day out with Nicola capturing those special moments. When we found out we were expecting there was no doubt in our mind who we wanted to come and capture these moments. Nicola is highly professional and we really enjoyed her company during the shoots. Nicola was amazing in helping us get some great shots of all our family as a special birthday surprise for my mum. She went out of her way to accommodate a weekend slot that suited us all and was incredible on the day looking after all the little (and big! ) kids. The results were absolutely fantastic, my mum was so pleased and so is everyone else in the family, so many great photos that we will all enjoy for years to come. Nicola is great with communication, always comes back to you and was a real help in terms of getting shots and prints done in time for a birthday deadline. Nicola's photo's are beautiful, I love how she captured our little family story. I hate having my photo taken but Nicola is so lovely she put us all at ease. Nicola was great from the start, it was so easy to contact her and organise the shoot- she was also very flexible as our shoot was outside and it was raining on the day we were meant to have it. We had a family photo shoot just before Christmas, 3 teenagers including 1 very reluctant 16yr old boy & a 6 year old. Nicola was fantastic at helping us all to relax & we all really enjoyed the experience - she even managed to get the 16yr old to smile! When I viewed the photographs I was breathtaken, all the shots are fantastic & I feel she has really captured our family. Our family photo shoot day last summer was a fantastic, fun, and enjoyable afternoon out! Nicola made our 5yr old twin boys feel very quickly at home with the camera with her friendly approach and she explained what she was doing throughout the session. Her calm friendly and non-patronising way of communicating with them has resulted in what we think are the best family photos ever (obviously!) We had so much fun! The boys played naturally in our local park, scootered and enjoyed being pirates and various Star Wars characters, while Nicola happily took shots of us and gently guided us in the directions she felt were artistically best! Overall we feel that she has really captured us relaxing and playing as a family in our home environment. We have used Nicola to document our two pregnancies and had two newborn photo shoots. At the moment we are excitedly awaiting our baby shoot. We have lived our shoots with Nicola at our home and in Lyme park. Nicola is very friendly and chatty and best of all patient, which is needed when working with babies and 'threenagers!' Her photos are beautiful and we have them up around our home. They have provided us with permanent memories of a very special time in our life. We asked Nicola to come round and take some photos of our little family (2 adults, a two year old and a nine day old!). Nicola was very flexible when we were booking her (telling us not to worry if baby had a bad night, we could change days if needed etc) which put us at ease from the beginning. When she arrived she was friendly, chatty, relaxed and we never felt awkward or rushed by her. I booked in Nicola for my bump and new born shoot (last year - time flies!) and cannot recommend her enough. She is professional, honest, enthusiastic and energetic. We did a reservoir walk for my bump shoot on a chilly February day and the new born shoot at my home in March. What can I say Nicola is a fantastic photographer and such a lovely person! We wanted to get some photographs with our 3 month old daughter so Nicola visited us in our home. Nicola made us feel completely at ease and it was just like having a friend round for a chat by the end. We couldn't wait to see the finished images and they were even better than we could of imagined! We ended up buying the whole disc as we just couldn't choose.
