What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I believe photography is about patience and gently drawing natural connections and expressions from you.
That is the start of the process or perhaps the end. Let me explain. A good photographer will have an understanding of the rules of photography. A good photographer will know how to use the environment to enhance the photograph. A good photographer will have their own editing style that brings a photograph to life. I could go on but I won't bore you.
A great photographer will spend hours and hours learning and breaking all the rules of photography. He or she will have practiced shooting, failed, practiced, failed and finally, learnt how to get natural connections that you, and all who look upon the finished photograph can see, really is a great photograph.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I am a natural light photographer and can photograph you anywhere at home, work or on location provided we have daylight.

I am based in Solihull in the West Midlands but will travel for the right assignment.
What do you love most about your job?
Photography is my passion. I love the whole process from meeting, getting to know you and photographing your family, to handing out the hankies when unexpectedly you are full of emotion viewing your finished photographs. I take great pride in knowing that I can create a special piece of art that you will treasure for many, many years to come.
I believe photography is about patience and gently drawing natural connections and expressions. As a mother of two girls I have honed my skills over the
years on how to gain cooperation from children in front of the camera. Believe me, my photographers children will always be my toughest customers.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As I mentioned, photography is my passion but the reason was emotional. Everyone says how quickly children grow up but I had been too busy to notice. Nappy changes, sleepless nights, runny noses, school runs, extra curricular clubs, parties...... suddenly I had a moment to take a breath. My girls are nearly grown. I have photographs all over my walls but there are not enough of those beautiful faces as they have grown. I need more time with them for stories and cuddles, kisses and hugs. I Can't turn back time but I have so many beautiful moments frozen and that is SO important. Children grow too fast.
For Corporate it is more simple. It is business and I want to make you look your best.
