Nicky combines a naturally friendly approach, with humour and thorough professionalism. She is very flexible, and that enabled a bespoke approach to our work together and incorporation of my dietary foibles. Nicky has introduced me to a whole new way to approach food.Through her clear explanations of how to achieve the correct carbs/protein/fat food balance, I have achieved a steady weight loss (with no hunger pangs! ) and I now feel confident I can maintain this new regime on my own.

Nicky is very knowledgeable and has a great way of presenting her nutrition sessions. She also gives helpful tips on food swops or tweaks to your favourite recipes to reduce sugar and/or saturated fat.

I went to see Nicky as I wanted to lose weight. She worked out a food plan for me and told me where I was going wrong with the food I was eating. I learnt so much about the different nutrients and why they are all important in your diet. Nicky is very thorough, explains things very well and is also very encouraging. Her sessions are fun and informative. I have managed to lose over a stone and am still seeing NIcky monthly for review sessions. I would recommend her highly. More...

As part of Jewish Blind & Disabled’s health and wellbeing programme, we were delighted to welcome in January 2021 one of our volunteers Nicky Mann who ran an informative and interesting Zoom for our tenants, entitled New Year Nutrition. Nicky spoke with assured knowledge about food and nutrition and backed this up with an eye catching Powerpoint presentation. It was clear to see that the tenants were engaged and inquisitive by the many questions Nicky was asked during the presentation – all of which she answered fully and in a way that was easy to understand.

I have had a lifelong interest in nutrition and had always researched nutritional concepts. The opportunity presented itself to set up a business and I jumped at the chance. The desire to do something worthwhile and help people in their health aims spurred me on. Nutrition makes a massive contribution to health. I love helping people understand how the foods they eat impact their health and allowing them to make healthy choices themselves rather then telling them what to eat.

I offer a personalised service tailored to each individual's lifestyle and aims. I look at their diet to ensure nutritional balance and help derive solutions to meet clients' health aims. I get to know each client in terms of food tastes, occupational activity, hobbies and family to help them make sensible changes that will lead to sustainable results.

Yes. I am currently having all my client consultations on Zoom. I would prefer face to face but have found on-line a safe alternative during lockdown

All my client consultations have now moved to Zoom during lockdown. When face to face was permitted, al surfaces were disinfected prior to and after each client, I insist that both I and all clients use anti bacterial gel before and after the session and I ensured social distance and wore a mask if the client was comfortable with that. I hope to be able to return to that regime after lockdown.
