What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Great photography is more about great relationships, good energy and trust than it is about lenses or pixels. Trust me to handle the technical side and we'll work together to make amazing images.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Are you the kind of person who steals the show or do you feel uncomfortable in front of a camera?
What makes you feel good about yourself, what about your personality are you proud of?
Where do you feel comfortable? Are you at home in the office, on the streets or in nature?
I want to know about you because the goal is to create an image that communicates your strengths to others.
What do you love most about your job?
I love handing over an image to a client that had doubts about how they would look on camera and making them realise how good they can actually look. Faces and people are unique - and if I can make someone feel great about themselves then I am doing my job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Working as an in-house photographer for a large organisation let me capture images across the UK and Europe but limited the settings and environments I could work in. As my own business I can capture images when you are ready and comfortable and collaborate with all kinds of professionals, families and businesses.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should work with a photographer they trust. Don't choose me... but choose to have a conversation with me and take it from there. We can only work well together if we know each other and I understand your needs.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I'll work in PPE indoors and we can stay distant outside. If you are uncomfortable with me working in close proximity to you then we can work with at greater focal lengths and I'll wear a mask if we need to discuss anything.
