Absolutely delighted with our tour with Mark. We had been told by so many people to do the tour, so much so, I was afraid of it being like a film you’ve been told so much about but never lives up to the expectations. But however this tour exceeded our expectations. Mark was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Absolute value for money. Would highly recommend. More...

Our guide helped us with a place to leave our car (in front of his Mother-in-law's house), which was very kind. He was very knowledgeable and engaging with the history and information he shared. It was informative and also sad to learn about the Troubles. Worth the trip up to Belfast and a good experience. More...

There are few things more poignant than having a local talk you through their first-hand experience living through 'The Troubles' in Belfast. From the commemorative murals to the still- standing 5km Peace Wall, our Black Taxi tour was a profound experience. More...

Mark was a wonderful tour guide. He was knowledgeable, engaging and gave a powerful recount of the troubles (from both sides). We had a fascinating experience and would thoroughly recommend this insightful tour. Would also like to add that it was very good value for money. I think it is essential for anyone visiting Belfast to be aware of the troubles and having a tour guide who has lived through the troubles was invaluable. Thank you Mark More...

Mark was awesome and our tour was fantastic. We knew the murals were important, but getting the entire history and view from both sides was fascinating. We timed it so we could see the gates closed in the evening, which lead to more stories and history on top of what our guide had already described - a definite worthwhile time spent! More...

This tour is amazing but heart breaking too. I was totally gobsmacked at the size of a rubber bullet (I'd imagined it the size of an ear plug! ) Photo attached and one of some barricades to protect houses from attacks. We seen so many murals and heard both sides. Thankfully it's all in the past now, Belfast is the most welcoming city to visit as is the rest of Northern Ireland, wonderful warm and welcoming people. Black Taxi Tour is a must if you're visiting More...

Very interesting tours, we got to see some murals, a section of the wall, we stopped by the old courthouse and jail, some Catholic and Protestant quarters, etc.
It's an interesting history if you're not familiar with it.
The driver was nice, though I feel like it's a bit of a sketchy operation; the taxi wasn't labelled, and at some point we were stopped for 20 minutes while he was going through some history. Still a good tour for 35 pounds, but I feel like there's a lot of room for improvement.
