Q&As

I love being able to help people ensure the future of their estate is secured and being passed onto the next generation in the way they wish.

Having helped lots of other people build their own businesses over the years I decided I should have the courage and belief I talk to others about and launch my own company to help people achieve their goals.

With the support of my team we provide an excellent service for clients at competitive prices. We're parted with one of the most successful estate planning companies in the UK.

We have an intelligent review system which, in as little as 20 minutes, provides you with a comprehensive, personalised and FREE estate planning report, based on your circumstances. No other estate planning website offers this, neither do they offer the legal document range that we do. With other sites, direct contact via telephone is needed for more complex documents such as Lasting Powers of Attorney and Will Trusts. We offer these documents exclusively via this online portal. This doesn’t mean however you are left to your own devices, there is a multitude of support options available to you, should you need it.

We created the platform during Covid-19 so clients could obtain the important documentation and support they needed with the need for face to face meetings.

Services

We offer single and joint wills via our online shop.

We provide an online client portal where your details are stored and can be updated at any time for no additional cost.

If life changes your documents can be updated free of charge.

We also provide free storage

Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) are documents that a person can put in place to ensure that their finances and health needs can still be managed by trusted people, should that person not be able to manage these anymore. LPAs aren’t often spoken about, but these documents are incredibly important!

There are 2 different kinds of LPAs

Property and Financial Affairs LPA allows your chosen person to handle your bank accounts, investments, bills & Property

Health and Welfare LPA covers decisions about your health and care

What happens if you don’t have an LPA and lose capacity?

If you lose mental capacity without an LPA it can cost your family thousands to be given permission to handle your affairs

Any bank accounts you hold even joint accounts with your partner could become severely restricted

You can not renegotiate mortgage terms or manage loan or credit card payments

Social Services will make ALL the decisions

Your beliefs and religion may not be considered or honoured by healthcare professionals in treatment
It is a criminal offence for anyone to manage the affairs of and incapable person with out legal authority (through an LPA)

What is a Protective Will Property Trust?

It is a Will that offers some protection for your property. It could prevent your home from being interfered with by a third party, like being means tested for care home fee assessment.
Its designed for couples, so when the first partner dies, their share of the property is placed in a Trust for the beneficiaries, usually children or family.
If the surviving partner remarries, the deceased's share of the property is fully protected for the original beneficiaries.
This means that if the surviving partner needs residential care, only their half of the house is regarded as an asset. The half in trust is protected from assessment.
