From our first meeting, to our engagement shoot, to the big day, Rebecca was the biggest help to us in all things. She is knowledgeable, understanding and supportive. She put us entirely at ease at our engagement shoot - taking us from stiff and awkward in front of the camera, to laughing and truly enjoying ourselves. Rebecca worked with us to plan our photos for the big day with helpful input and inspiration, and complete understanding of our choices. She was able to adapt on the wedding day when extreme weather resulted in a few last minute changes, and most importantly kept us at ease. I’ll never forget us passing the hand fan back and forth in the middle of our photos on the hottest day of the year. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Always do your research, listen to what your client is passionate about and put them at their ease. Preparation is key, but so is being adaptive to a situation. Great photographers are in the right place at the right time, while blending into the situation ... oh and don't forget a sense of humour... always!

The endlessly changing interactions I have with people and places are fascinating and so rewarding. I get to share people's lives, and capture their character in the kind of detail that is a real privilege. Making beautiful, honest images is my dream job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Starting my own business meant that I could work in a way that was completely true to my values, and makes me and therefore my family happy. Life is short, and sometimes you need to take that leap of faith.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am doubly vaccinated against Covid-19, all equipment is thoroughly cleaned between shoots, and I work according to current government guidelines.
