The coach is someone who is there for you, to support you in facing the challenges you face, in celebrating your triumphs and achievements.
He is there for you to listen to you, to talk issues through and help you clarify your thinking about your situation and decide what you want to work on. This is a collaberative partnership
Because the content is confidential you will be able to be totally honest about your difficulties.
The coach will help you to set the goals you want to set, help you remain focussed and keep you on track, in whatever way you choose.

We want to tailor the coaching to your requirements but in the main cover such issues as :
• Goals – The building blocks of success
• Resources and milestones – Essential stepping stones to success
• Motivation – How your beliefs move you closer to success
• Beliefs – Breaking down negative beliefs and rebuilding the positive
• Values – adopting a value structure for ultimate success
• Rules- Uncover your hidden rules and always feel good
• 6 Human needs – Which ones do you need met?
• Projection – All communication is projection
• Questions – The answer to everything

On the whole stress management can be covered within the structure of the above but where stress is the main issue in the coaching a more in depth
approach can be pursued.
I offer general Life coaching, Christian Life Purpose Coaching and Transition Coaching'.
In addition I offer spiritual counselling which largely centres on identity and what it means to be in Christ with the use of specific prayer.
I pastored a church for 25 years where I developed as a counsellor Through this I developed a passion for coaching, having trained and practised counselling for many years, I qualified as a coach during my last few years as a pastor when I was concerned to be able to help people in their working lives and day to day pressures.
I myself suffered from considerable stress before training and learnt much about it and how to overcome it. I am learning much about the health risks involved in coping with long term stress
I am qualified obtaining various certificates from the Centre for Stress management and Coaching and a Certificate in Life Coaching from New Insights.
I am also trained Life Purpose and Transition coaching.

As stress is not created by a single issue of life but is accumulated through all of life's arenas I prefer in coaching to gain an overview of a client's values, beliefs, life transitions, approaches to time management etc. to enable them to deal with root causes of stress and also manage it practically.

I operate best with clients who are committed Christians who value highly their relationship with God, those who are open to change and who are willing to be open and honest.
