I found Nicholas Collins via Bark. I have an AirBNB which needed decorating. He seemed to know what he was talking about, provided a sensible quote and said it would take 2 weeks. We blocked the time out on the calendar and he started work. This turned into 3 months and our relationship soured over that time to the point that he walked out of the job. I had to cancel 2 guest bookings and am being penalised by AirBNB for that. He has painted OVER light switches and power sockets. He has removed door plates. He has painted the intumescent strips on the fire doors rendering them useless. He removed carpet (we have had the property recarpeted as well) and damaged the underlay so it had to be replaced. It is such a shame as most of the work he has done was a good standard but he has refused to provide a date to complete the snagging which is no good for me as I need to rent the property out. He has demanded extra money and as I refused to do so in retaliation he has removed scaffolding from the building which I have paid for and left the downpipes off and the building is painted in 3 different colours.
