What do you love most about your job?
I love being outside in the fresh air. Every day is different depending on the garden I am doing. I enjoy physical, active work. I also love the variety of work gardening brings such as heavy digging over a large area of ground to clear the weeds one day to cutting hedges the next.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted the satisfaction of doing something for myself and move away from being stressed in my regular routine of working for companies
Why should our clients choose you?
I am hard working and dedicated to looking after your gardens like they were my own. I have been gardening along side work for 5 years but wish to leave working for companies altogether. I have taken over the gardens I work from my mum who gardened for many years. My love for gardening has grown since childhood when I used to go with her and help in the holidays. My experience therefore goes back as far as childhood, making me knowledgeable in lots of different gardens and their individual needs. I will provide a personal approach to traditional gardening that most large companies will struggle to provide.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I work as alone outside in the garden. If I need to enter the property I will ensure I wear a mask if its required of me.
General maintenance
I offer a personal approach to gardening that many larger companies would struggle to provide this includes traditional gardening services of weeding, pruning, cutting back, planting new plants or taking cuttings and replanting existing plants, cutting the grass and edging and generally taking care of your gardens all year round needs. My rates are £20 per hour for this general maintenance however may increase if you require anything more specialised.
