Hi, I’m Natalie I’m a qualified integrative counsellor, this means I have a wide knowledge of models and lots of techniques to choose from when working with you to help find one that works best for you, as I understand that not one technique works for everyone. It’s a no one size fits all. I work in a person centred way as I feel this is a really important part of the therapeutic relationship building, offering you empathy, unconditional positive regard, honestly and transparency, space.
I also draw from CBT and mindfulness if I feel this would be of benefit to you and the work we do together. I work to adapt to your needs providing you with a safe place to talk through what you have experienced or are experiencing still, I work to your pace as I know it can be difficult to talk about those deep dark thoughts we don’t like to share with others always.
I don’t judge, I won’t judge but what I will do is offer you that space to openly explore whatever it is you choose to bring to your throat sessions. The space is yours to be your true self to explore and not have to worry about what others may think, to not worry about your friends/ family knowing what you’re experiencing.

I am also a member of the BACP membership body and I follow their code of ethics.

All sessions take place online via Teams calls. To begin with if you struggle to have your camera on that’s okay it’s something we can slowly introduce once you begin to feel more comfortable. This is your process. However I will always ask if you are alone and cannot be disturbed or overheard. The reason for this is your safety and privacy is of paramount importance to me.

I offer a 15/20 minute initial call so we can briefly speak to one another and I can answer any questions you may have before you decide if you’d like to book in with me.
