I was overweight, out of shape and feeling very demotivated.
I started training with James a few years ago and the weight fell off, with the help of a macro based diet plan and resistance training.
Once I achieved the weight I was striving
for I wanted to put on some muscle.
What helped me was a full understanding of the process. I spoke to James pretty much daily and and we monitored
my weight gain carefully as I understand it is easy to put too much on to quickly which would have taken me back to square one.
However, we done it in a gradual way and I put on lean muscle throughout.
I am chuffed to bits with the results. I would give James a 5 star review and i still train with him to this day, once a week.

I trained with James in 2019 & 2020. I enjoy weight training, but not cardio so I hired James to help motivate me to do more cardio. I found HIIT workouts really enjoyable and I now prefer this style of training. I enjoy the boxing workouts mostly and this is incorporated somewhere into each workout. I have decided whilst in lockdown to work with James online until we can get back to face to face workouts. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
I help my clients to achieve their fitness goals through my own wealth of experience in the Fitness Industry. I have 25+ years worth of experience and get genuine enjoyment through helping others. I have seen many fads come and go, I know what works and what doesn't through my own fitness journey and 'real life' experience.

What do you love most about your job?
Helping people. I left a well paid full time career in the corporate world for the opportunity to forge a career in the fitness industry. I get genuine enjoyment from helping others. The benefits of Exercise are well documented and are plainly obvious to anyone who partakes in it for a period of time. To name a few, health & cardio improvements, mental health, well being, increased energy levels, greater confidence / self esteem and in some cases longer life expectancy.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The lockdown!!!!! The enforced period away from the corporate world gave me a chance to re-evaluate my life and in particular, my work / life balance. I am incredibly passionate about the fitness industry and always have been. I have always run bootcamp's which were very popular up until the lockdown. Unfortunately I had to fit these in around my full time job but I always wanted the opportunity to not only offer more bootcamp's, but also personal training. Now I have the time to commit to it and I do not regret the decision to start up full time one bit..... In fact my only regret is I did not do it sooner!
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a lot of experience not just in terms of functional fitness and weight lifting, but also fat loss, boxing, muay thai, mma, interval and circuit training, which enables me to always make training sessions enjoyable, challenging and with a lot of variety.
As mentioned previously, I also have a wealth of 'real life' fitness experience. I know what works and what is just the latest fad or flavour of the month. It is often said that the best training programme/ diet plan is the one you will stick to. I 100% agree with this, so using my own experience I tailor training to each individual person's capabilities - and to some extent lifestyle.

Yes I have my own App, which has detailed training plans - with video demonstrations, diet plans, weekly checkins, progress photos and much more! So I can train anyone in any part of the country (or world).

Aimed at the 35-65 age bracket, this is a full body strength and conditioning programme.
The goal here is to have no weak links, after all…… you are only as good as your weakest link!
After an initial movement assessment a structured training programme is created with measureable weekly goals. This would cover all aspects of health and fitness, not just strength, weight and cardio vascular conditioning, but also mobility, flexibility, stability, stamina and more!
Included is a diet and supplement plan.
Blood testing can also be included at cost - pre and post or just pre or post programme,.
