What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy being able to aid both owner and dog communicate better. Seeing owners and dogs making improvements which leads to a happier, easier and more enjoyable life for both.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always loved dogs and been around them my whole life, in both a pet and working environment. During lock down there was a lot of dogs that were acquired as pets, but due to the restrictions they were not able to socialise as much. When the restrictions lifted I wanted to help those dogs and their owners socialise again in a safe and fun environment, which is when My_Fit_Paws was created. Slowly the business has built from there helping owners with different types of training and activities.

We currently offer predominantly in person training or program training which requires you to attend lessons periodically in person.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Our group classes are small numbers in an outdoor area. It is a large field and therefore space can always be left between dog owners.
During 1v1 lessons masks can be worn and training can be arrange to be inside or outside depending on a clients preference and training requirements.

This involves puppy socialisation with other dogs and humans, as well as activities and games built around building there confidence. Our training uses a range of different stimulations to build confidence, aid training, as well as have a lot of fun.
