Mutterly Knackered is a professional dog walking and pet sitting company based in the Ashdown forest.
The business is run by myself, Rachel Williams, I am the owner and sole employee. I decided to create Mutterly Knackered after needing a similar service myself, at a previous job I used a pet sitter and dog walker for my chocolate labrador puppy Norman.

What do you love most about your job?
Being a dog walker and pet sitter allows me to live my dream of working with animals whilst offering a high level of service to my clients. Along with this we are also perfectly positioned in the Ashdown forest, offering a wide range of beautiful dog walks.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I decided to create Mutterly Knackered after needing a similar service myself, at a previous job I used a pet sitter and dog walker for my chocolate labrador puppy Norman. I felt at ease knowing my dog was at home in a familiar, comfortable, surrounding whilst having his needs catered for by a friendly face.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am an experienced, trustworthy, reliable dog lover and walker. I am fully insured and CRB checked. I go out in all weathers and if you choose doggy day care they will come out with me on all walks that day.
Being based in Ashurst Wood makes us perfectly positioned for dog walking. The beautiful Ashdown forest stretches for miles offering a huge range of dog friendly walks. The ideal place for your dog to get their well deserved exercise.
Dogs will be kept safely on the lead until we reach the Ashdown forest/ woodland area. All your specific requirements will be discussed during our meet and greet i.e. lead walking, recall, favourite treats, good with other dogs etc.
I can also provide regular updates and pictures of your dog enjoying his or her walk.
1/2 Hour, 1 Hour and 1 1/2 Hour Walks
Mutterly Knackered will give your dog the exercise he or she deserves. We will care for your furry friends so you can rest assured whilst out of the house, your pet will be happy and content with me, giving you peace of mind.
30 minute and 1 hour home visits for cats, puppies, dogs ect.
I will visit your pet whilst you are unable to be there so that you can feel relaxed knowing that your pet is safe, well, and not alone for long periods of time. I offer all kinds of services including playtime and cuddles, feeding/ topping up water, toilet breaks, cleaning out litter trays, administering medication, etc. Having ridden all my life and had horses myself I also offer care for horses- filling up haynets, turning out, rugging up, feeding, mucking out, etc. Please enquire for more information.
Pet Day Care
If you choose doggy daycare they will come out with me on all walks that day.
You can feel at ease knowing that your pooch will not be alone whilst you can't be there to keep them company and that they will return home tired after lots of exercise and making friends!
Vet visits
I also offer a service in which I will take your pet to the vet if you are unable to and can pick up any required medication if you do not have the time.
