I visited the gardens a week ago on my way down to Fontwell. Lots of lovely memories as we used to visit years ago when the gardens were only open at rhododendron time and then in the autumn for the colors.
Not at all disappointing. But I was thinking that I would be able to by either an azalea or a rhododendron in the plant shop.
Not one did I see. What a missed opportunity as you have such a collection
Such a shame . But I did enjoy the gardens in spite of the fact that I had missed the flowering time.

Loved it here. When I arrived, I discovered I had booked on the wrong date, but the lovely ladies couldn’t have been more accommodating, alongside the volunteer buggy drivers.
