Dear MSS Security,
Regarding the loss of my valued pliers to the prohibited items bin at Qantas Brisbane Domestic Terminal around 2pm on 25/4/13, I felt ripped off after having felt cornered into parting with my valued pliers in the rush to make our flight and then later felt frustrated at being unable to find anyone who cared enough to help!
A Qantas employee named Gavin was entirely unhelpful later in the day regarding what could be done to retrieve the pliers.
But today has been a new day. I had the pleasure of tracking down one Cindy Roberts of MSS Security, the firm contracted by Qantas to provide the passenger screening at the Qantas Brisbane Domestic Terminal. She clearly cared about my problem and my loss of a valued and loyal old tool and took the time to get the pliers fished out of the prohibited items bin and is mailing the pliers to me in a post pack.
Cindy has been a pleasure to deal with and has frankly restored my faith in Qantas' and MSS Security's ability to provide a caring service and manage customer relations well.
