We have worked with MSD Electrical for the last 4 months and would thoroughly recommend his work to others.
Whether a callout or planned work, Mike turns up, carries out his work in a professional manner and produces quality work.
Furthermore we receive certification and build regs approval within a couple of days of completing the job.
A reliable, quality service.

Rewiring
The quote for the rewire was very reasonable. I received a full itemised quote and plan of the works to be carried out. The works have been carried out to a high standard. The engineer was very helpful and explained what was happening throughout the full re-wire. I will definitely recommend him to friends and family. More...

I can't recommend MSD Electrical enough, a professional, helpful service. Mike listened to what we needed, advised, turned up as agreed, did the work 100%, did any additional bits that were needed to complete the job and tidied up as he went. But I can't say any of this or he will get busy and we will have to wait our turn, lol. More...

What do you love most about your job?
I really enjoy what I do and the challenges it provides. The satisfaction I see in customers is brilliant.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Working for other people in the past I found I didn't always like the way they did things. Working for my self allows me to take see a project through the way I want to. I wanted to be my own boss.
Why should our clients choose you?
I like to treat every job as though it was in my own home.
I will leave the work area as clean and tidy as I can.
I will dispose of my own rubbish.
I will leave as good a finish as I am capable of.
I will do all I can to offer a good level of after service.
The sad fact, when hiring tradespeople, is that nobody is going to care as much about your home as you do. There are a lot of tradespeople out there who will simply not care about the mess or the finish they leave and will do the job to the minimum standard just to get out and on to the next job as quickly as possible. This does not however describe ALL tradespeople. There are good ones out there.
I have fallen victim to this sort of slapdashery my self in the past and, since I became a tradesman, I have tried my hardest to not fall into this same category.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I carry hand sanitizer.
Face masks can be worn.
I maintain a safe working distance at all times.
Consumer Unit(fuse board) Replacement.
Installation of a new consumer unit. In some cases, when the installation is quite old, it is necessary to carry out full circuit testing prior to any installation work.
Circuit Alteration.
In some cases it may be necessary to extend or a reroute a circuit. A good example of this is when having a new kitchen installed or removing an interior wall.
New Circuits.
Having an extension, or just simply adding en electric cooker? The chances are you will need one or more new circuits installing.
Minor Works(adding/removing/changing sockets, lights etc), Maintenance.
Sometimes you may need an extra socket in a kitchen or a light installing in an under stairs cupboard or loft. It may well be that you'd just like some or all of your sockets and switches updating.
Fault Finding.
Circuit and appliance testing to determine the cause of a circuit or a group of circuits that trip out.
Condition Report.
A thorough inspection and test of an electrical installation to determine whether it is safe for continued operation and suitable for the demands of the client.
Full Rewire.
A complete removal of the original wiring system and a full fresh installation of all new cabling, consumer unit and accessories. A rewire can be totally customized to the clients individual needs.
Appliance Installation.
Installing cookers/ovens, bathroom extractors, water heaters etc...
