I have read Shelley’s honest description of her journey, her love of sports, her career change and a desire to help others. I wish to add another facet, another dimension to her biography. I know Shelley very well and we worked on projects together in a past life. She is a thorough professional in what she does and has the ability to bring her learning into practice. She also has a natural empathy for fellow humans. Our experiences together were in a high pressure corporate environment going through a period of serious structural change. Her innate ability to listen and then structure improvement processes and measurements of the metrics of success are qualities which are rare to be so well developed. Beyond helping individuals and teams and their organisations in sport, Shelley has the proven ability and track record in initiating, structuring and facilitating change programmes, howsoever ever big or small, at all levels of a company’s hierarchy. She is quick to appreciate that the only permanence is change and aspects of the mind and mental health are key for the success of individuals, teams and larger organisations.
