What do you love most about your job?
What is most satisfying about my job is being part of a students journey to academic success.
What inspired you to start your own business?
In my 20 years of full-time teaching I had always offered private tutoring after school. I had so many students that I realised in order to meet this demand in Southend-on-sea I needed to dedicate more time to it. This led me to start my tutoring agency - Mrs Strauss Tutoring. I am so glad I did, I work with many customers in and around the area and am happy to be supporting students to academic success.

My company specialises in home tuition, rather than online, and provides invaluable support to students alongside their education in school.

Tutors also offer online tuition if this is the preferred method by the client. Sometimes it is not possible for students to have a tutor in the home, so online then becomes the better option and we can provide this.
Tutoring
A Level, GCSE or Key Stage 3 (secondary) tutoring in Maths/English/Science or French.
BTEC or adult tuition in Sciences/Maths/English or Business Studies.
Primary tuition, and 11+ specialist tuition.
