DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I believe that this company is a rogue trader. I believe they misled me into having my whole roof replaced when only a small amount of work was needed.

Due to damp in the attic, I engaged this company to for remedial work to the chimney

After starting the work, they produced a piece of blackened wood, supposedly from my roof and said the timbers were rotten and roof needed redoing, at which the price quadrupled.

I don’t know where they got the blackened wood from but I believe it wasn’t from my roof, as all the timber that came from my roof into the skip was in good order

They took 2 months on and off doing the job which should have taken a week. Even accounting for the weather, there were lots of excuses why they couldn't turn up, which was quite stressful.

They pressured me into paying which I foolishly did
Only to later find on close inspection that there was a portion of the roof totally untouched, and the work that was done was shockingly substandard


They also tried the same tactics with my neighbour who felt quite intimidated by them

The owner of the company agreed that the work was substandard and promised to put it right.

They did some further work but it remained substandard. When I pointed this out they became quite insulting.

Hi had the guys from AquaShield out today very nice and kind set of all the work was to a very high standard also gave my often update on how thing was going and how everything works thanks a lot guys.

This "company" (they subcontract the work to other people while not even checking if they are doing a good job) is not worth your time. Not professional at all, and they asked to be paid before finishing the job completely and then disappeared. I paid them to also remove all the remaining tiles and rubbish from my properties, but it's still there after weeks.
Did serious damages to the property that they fixed only after implying that they were doing me a favour by sorting it out the mess they did themselves!
The biggest damage happen when they decided to remove all the tiles from one side of the roof for weeks while leaving just a horribly placed cover, and when it started to rain hard water leaked in ruining the plaster in two rooms.
The tiles now are also rattling every time there is too much wind, and they did not show up to check why they are doing that even after I contacted them multiple time.
Always come up with excuses, and do not show up when they are supposed to.

We rectified all problems with your roof we also paid Yorkshire plastering to new ceilings in and he advised us it was not needed he said the rafter above your ceiling were quite week and the cracks was very old but as soon as you said this was our fault, we had new ceilings fitted in both rooms . Im very sorry you feel this way . Plz could you state that we rectified any problems you seem to have left that out of your feedback

Visited to quote and kept to the timescales and turned up as promised. Price was reasonable.
Delighted with their work. Roof looks like new now that the moss has been manually cleaned off.
