I'm Adam Smyth (Mr Smyth) an expert teacher with a decade of Maths teaching experience, holding a QTS in Secondary Mathematics Education and a Maths degree.
My tutoring business specialised in group tuition. Group tuition enables me to offer high quality lessons that are similar in personalisation to 1:1, whilst keeping the costs down.

What do you love most about your job?
I love working online because it allows me to reach and help more students. I love creating Maths content and helping as many students as possible. GCSE Maths is hard for a lot of students and only 77% of students passed their GCSE Maths exams last year. I want to help as many students as possible be on the right side of this statistic
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was a Maths teacher in the classroom for 8 years. I became ill through burnout and missed 3 months of work. I decided to go part time and quickly realised this wasn't for me.

I'm an expert Maths teacher with a decade of experience. My lessons are incredible clear with simple yet detailed explanations. I hold a high value on looking at the spread of what GCSE exams are asking students for. For example:
AO2 and AO3 skills are problem solving questions. These make up 50% of foundation and 60% of higher questions on the exam. We spend 90% of lessons going through these questions because these are the types of questions borderline students get wrong. They are also the type of questions students fall on when aiming for their target grade. ALL WE DO IS EXAM QUESTIONS
