Really pleased with our new patio. The service provided by Ben and his team has been exemplary. We received excellent advice on materials, a realistic quote, and the workmanship was first class. Guy and Karlan work really well together and are professional, hard-working, polite and tidy. We have four manhole covers on our patio, most of them at a jaunty angle(!), and Guy straightened them all up for us and cut the recessed tiles to make them blend in. I contacted Ben along with a few other companies with regards to extending our block paved driveway and redesigning our front garden along side that. Ben was by far the easiest person to firstly get hold of & arrange an appointment and secondly by far the most experienced point of contact I came across. I explained our views and thoughts to which Ben came back with various options & opinions which were gratefully received. We decided on an option and even though it was a more expensive option than some other companies, I felt Ben could provide higher quality work & overall finish. Ben, along with Joe, didn’t stop working when possible, even during the literally freezing cold temperatures & wet weather. We are totally overwhelmed with the finished article and have had numerous people comment on how impressive the front garden now looks, even people walking past have stopped us to ask who done it and praised the appearance. A massive thank you again to you Ben, and Joe, for all your hard work and guidance. Ben and Joe were fantastic. The only person to keep to his appointment time and showed up when he said he was going to (how do other companies ale any money? ?) Gave me a quote with a few different options on, listened to my ideas and helped me work through them. Ben even turned up during the snowfall and carried on regardless! Block paving
All of our block paving is guaranteed for 6 years.
We lay all driveways on a 150mm base of type 1 compacted in multiple layers.
40mm laying course of sharp sand
Dressed with chosen block paving.
Membrane to be used under all exacavations
Porcelain & natural stone paving
All paving is to be laid on a minimum of 100mm of compacted hardcore.
The slabs will be painting with primer before laying.
We lay all of our paving on full contact beds.
We only use exterior tile grout for porcelain , and vdw850 2 part polymer resin for the joints on natural stone , which is built to last.
All paving guaranteed for 6 years
