just picked my two up. By far the best cut they have ever had!!! Also when I went to pick them up they were so happy so I knew they had enjoyed their time (as much as they could) and treated right. I have a Labrador and Cockapoo both dislike being left but they happily stayed with Helen and I picked up two chilled out dogs who were beautifully groomed . Puppy Grooms & Puppy Packages
Puppy Groom
It’s important to introduce your new puppy to the grooming environment as soon as possible to help them get used to the sights & sounds of the salon to make their visits enjoyable and as stress free as possible. A gentle bath, dry & brush with a tidy up trim where necessary. For pups between the age of 12 weeks and 6 months.
Puppy Package
A great value for money package of 3 visits, to ensure your puppies gradual introduction to the grooming process. Over the 3 visits we will gradually build up the pup’s experiences from an initial familiarisation session to their first big boy/girl haircut.
Visit 1
Introduction to grooming – getting your puppy used to the sights and sound (including dryer noise, clipping vibrations, scissor sounds)
Gentle brush
Ear clean and Nail Trim introduction
Spritz of pup friendly fragrance
Visit 2
All of the above, plus a bath and dry
Visit 3
All of the above, plus bath, dry and full groom styling
Hand Stripping
Hand stripping is the painless process of removing the dead topcoat which promotes the healthy re-growth of new hair. Certain wire coated breeds and gun dogs / spaniels are hand stripped for 3 reasons: maintain the correct texture off coat, to keep a rich colour and to maintain healthy skin. It does not hurt your dog when done properly by a qualified groomer. Dogs must have a suitable coat, temperament and condition for hand stripping, please contact us for more details
